Daniel Meyerstein, also known as Daniel Rose, is a Visalia-based vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, music educator, and live performer. His genres span Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Country, Classical, Metal, and Classic Rock.

A lifelong musician, Daniel began performing at just 9 years old with the house band at Crawdaddy's Bar and Grill, and by age 10 raised over $400 for the Salvation Army through a live performance. His early talent was recognized in Visalia when he won Visalia's Got Talent (ages 10-13) at the historic Fox Theatre. He went on to compete in the Guitar Hero Guitar Competition at the College of the Sequoias Theatre and the Teen Idol Vocal Competition at Redwood High School Theatre — returning two years later as a judge.

Daniel is a familiar name on Central Valley stages. He has performed at the 75th Anniversary Event for the Visalia Rec Dept. at Plaza Park, the Boots, Brews and Bacon Country Festival at the Visalia Convention Center, Taste of the Arts Arts Consortium event, and the Three Rivers Music Festival. He notably opened for Bostyx (Boston / Styx) at the Visalia Fox Theatre.

His career has taken him far beyond Visalia. National highlights include performing on Broadway in Nashville, TN, at SXSW in Austin, TX, at UC Fullerton in Los Angeles, and at the San Jose International Performing Arts Festival Competition. He was personally invited to audition for AMERICAN IDOL at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. At the NAMM Show in Los Angeles, he performed two solo songs for Sure Microphones and Ampeg Amps and shared the stage for a piece with world-renowned bass player Victor Wooten. He has also drummed with Brian (Dog Boy) Burwell, who has played with Phil X, Nelson, and the American Music Awards.

Internationally, Daniel completed a music tour in Shanghai, China in 2015-2016, performing for a crowd of 10,000, and performed at the Marriott in Kigali, Rwanda, Africa.

As an educator, Daniel has dedicated over a decade to teaching. He served as a musical instructor at Visalia Music School for 10 years, Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drum and Vocal Instructor at V-Tech Charter High School in Visalia as well as Napa School of Music, Executive Primary Music Instructor from 2021-2023, led a drum corps class at La Sierra Military Academy in Visalia, and created bands for Lindsay Unified School District for 2 years.

Today, Daniel offers services as a Wedding Singer, Music Educator, Live Performer, and DJ, available for weddings, private events, and venues throughout the Visalia area and beyond.
